Dr. Chevy Hanqing Fang received the Family Firm Institute’s Best Doctoral Dissertation Award for his dissertation, “Strategic Persistence, Dominant Strategy and Firm Performance in Publicly Traded Family Firms.” Fang is an assistant professor of business and information technology at Missouri S&T.
FFI is a global network of thought leaders in family enterprise. FFI’s Best Doctoral Dissertation award recognizes outstanding academic achievement in the field of family business study. The award is given annually after a blind, peer review of all submissions. Dissertations may be on any topic of relevance to the understanding and appreciation of family firms or family firm advisors.
