Read More »Crews will work on electrical panels for the installation of an induction furnace in the foundry area of McNutt Hall, causing a partial power outage in the building 7 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14. Lighting will not be affected but the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in some parts of the building will be affected. During this outage, cooling and heating will not be available in the following rooms of McNutt Hall:
The facility services staff, in conjunction Tech Electronics, is inspecting campus building fire alarm panels. The process started Nov. 12 and will conclude Monday, Dec. 10. Signs will be posted on the doors of the buildings on the day of testing. All aspects of the fire alarms will be tested – strobe lights, smoke detectors and horns, which may beep for up to 15 seconds during the testing.
