Faculty, staff and students, as well as area community members, can apply to speak at a TEDx event Thursday, April 11, on S&T’s campus. The deadline for applications is Friday, Nov. 16.
“Overlooked” is the theme. What is it to be seen and unseen? Life is so fast-paced that seemingly ordinary, everyday experiences can become ubiquitous. What did you see that was previously hidden? How have you changed or augmented the world you perceive and interact with around you? Apply to present at tedxmst.com/speaker-application.
The event will welcome artists, scientists, storytellers and thinkers to explore the theme 6-9 p.m. Thursday, April 11, in Leach Theatre. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including this event, are self-organized.
