Steam outage campuswide through June 1

The Power Plant shut down all steam production at approximately 8 a.m. today, Tuesday, May 26, to make repairs to the main steam header.  The outage is anticipated to last until Monday, June 1.   All main campus buildings will be affected by this outage and may experience cooler than normal temperatures. Drivers age 35 and older needed for research project

Dr. Ghulam Bham, assistant professor of civil, architectural and environmental engineering, is looking for volunteers to drive a simulator as part of a research project investigating traffic systems. Board of Trustees to support Staff Recognition Day

Members of the Missouri S&T Board of Trustees have committed $7,600 to support this year’s Staff Day. The donations were made to show appreciation to Missouri S&T staff for their work. The funds will be used by Staff Council to help pay for the event, which will include the presentation of Staff Excellence Awards.
