Dr. Stewart Gillies retirement reception

Mining and nuclear engineering will host a retirement reception for Dr. Stewart Gillies, Union Pacific Rocky Mountain Energy Mining Professor and director of the Rock Mechanics and Explosives Research Center, to celebrate his years of experience with the university. Snack vending machines to be changed

Missouri S&T has entered into a new agreement for snack vending with the company Superior Vending of Rolla. Transition to the new supplier will begin during spring break, March 28 to April 2. All snack machines on campus will be removed and replaced with machines from Superior.

IT security to discontinue Lumension antivirus

Information security is announcing the end of Lumension antivirus for S&T as of Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016. Before then, IT will need to remove the campus version of Lumension antivirus software from all systems.
