Dr. Michael Fu, the Ralph J. Tyser Professor of Management Science in the decision, operations and information technologies department of the Robert H. Smith School of Business, with a joint appointment in the Institute for Systems Research and an affiliate appointment in electrical and computer engineering at the University of Maryland, will present “Recent Advances in Simulation Optimization Using Direct Gradients” as part of the Sarchet Seminar Series sponsored by engineering management and systems engineering. The lecture will be held 2-3:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, in Room 213 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. This seminar is open to all students, faculty and staff.
