Snack vending machines to be changed

Missouri S&T has entered into a new agreement for snack vending with the company Superior Vending of Rolla. Transition to the new supplier will begin during spring break, March 28 to April 2. All snack machines on campus will be removed and replaced with machines from Superior.
As a part of the new agreement, machines on campus with a consistent record of low sales will be removed and not replaced. Building representatives will be informed if a snack machine will be removed and not replaced.
All snack machines will accept credit and debit cards. All machines will have a certain number of “healthy items” for sale as prescribed in the vending contract. Healthy vending items include – but are not limited to – granola bars, baked snack chips and cereal bars.
