Career Fair is Sept. 27

The Fall Career Fair will be held 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, in the Gale Bullman Building. The Career Fair is the largest recruiting event on campus each semester. Students can talk face-to-face with recruiters and hand out their resumes for full-time, co-op and internship opportunities. Student ID is required for entry; professional dress is required. The event is open to Missouri S&T students and alumni only. For more information, contact career opportunities and employer relations at 341-4343.

Miner Days are now Discover Days

Admissions has changed the name of Miner Days to Discover Days. The department is using the new name on all recruitment materials and communications. There is no change to the name of Open House. Discover Days are “mini-open houses” held approximately 20 times per year that accommodate 45-60 prospective students and guests. Discover Days offer prospective students presentations on admissions, student life, scholarships and financial aid, and include a panel discussion with current students, tours of campus and residential life, and visits to academic departments. Admissions appreciates the engagement of the entire campus, including faculty, staff and current students, in all recruitment activities.
