Dr. Joseph Smith, the Wayne and Gayle Laufer Chair of Energy at S&T and director of Missouri S&T’s Energy Research and Development Center (ERDC), was elected to the board of directors for the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. He will serve in this position for the next three years.
