One in 10 people have not been bullied; only one in 10.
Jessica Pettit, “the diversity educator your family warned you about,” will present a direct, highly interactive program that will explore everyday actions from unintentional micro-aggressions to hate crimes. Discuss how words and actions, as well as silence, can impact others. This conversation is for the bully and bullied in everyone. It will help you explore how to make campus more inclusive. This event starts at 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, in St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center.
Pettit’s visit is made possible through the combined efforts of the leadership and cultural programs department, residential life, fraternity and sorority life and counseling, disability support and student wellness.
