Two open meetings are scheduled about the Campus Master Plan on Wednesday, Nov. 20. The first will be held from noon to 2 p.m. and the second will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., both in St. Pat’s Ballroom B of the Havener Center. Soft drinks will be provided. The focus of these meetings will be to discuss preliminary findings and campus alternatives for the Master Plan. Your participation in the development of the Master Plan is encouraged.

S&T Staff Council is sponsoring GRACE for Christmas. GRACE (Greater Rolla Area Community Enterprise) provides food, clothing and toys for the less fortunate in the local community every year. Assistance is provided to more than 700 families. Donate via the drop boxes between Monday, Nov. 11, and Monday, Dec. 2. Boxes will be picked up on Tuesday, Dec. 3, and delivered to GRACE.

As part of the campus strategic planning process, the mathematics and statistics department is in the process of redesigning the courses that make up the calculus sequence. The committee working on the redesign is interested in learning the campus community’s perceptions of the current calculus sequence at S&T. The S&T Softball Team is selling original glazed Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Orders can be for campus delivery or for an in-store redeemable certificate. Doughnuts are $6 per dozen, or purchase a certificate that can be redeemed at Krispy Kreme locations, with most stores located in the St. Louis area participating. Missouri S&T surplus property will have a surplus garage sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, at the surplus property building located at 301 N. Bishop Avenue in Rolla. Items for sale include computers, chairs, bookshelves, books, televisions, laptops, pictures and other small items.
