S&T Staff Council is sponsoring GRACE for Christmas. GRACE (Greater Rolla Area Community Enterprise) provides food, clothing and toys for the less fortunate in the local community every year. Assistance is provided to more than 700 families. Donate via the drop boxes between Monday, Nov. 11, and Monday, Dec. 2. Boxes will be picked up on Tuesday, Dec. 3, and delivered to GRACE.
Suggested donations are: canned vegetables (green beans, corn, pork and beans, etc.), canned soup (vegetable, chicken noodle, tomato, etc.), canned fruit (mixed fruit, peaches, applesauce, etc.), peanut butter, crackers, cereal, macaroni, spaghetti, mac and cheese, brownie and cake mixes, pancake and biscuit mixes, instant mashed potatoes, cocoa mix, ramen noodles, canned spaghetti, ravioli, tuna, salmon, etc. New toys, children’s books and monetary donations are also accepted.
Drop boxes will be located in the following buildings and departments: the S&T Bookstore, Campus Support Facility, Castleman Hall, Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall, Computer Science Building, Emerson Hall, Engineering Management Building, Engineering Research Laboratory, Fulton Hall, General Services Building, Harris Hall, Havener Center, Humanities and Social Sciences Building, human resources, information technology, Curtis Laws Wilson Library, McNutt Hall, mechanical engineering, office of sponsored programs, Gale Bullman Multi-Purpose Building, Materials Research Center, Norwood Hall, Parker Hall, Physics Building, Regional Professional Development Center, Rock Mechanics and Explosives Research Center, Rolla Building, Schrenk Hall, Centennial Hall, U.S. Bureau of Mines, Miners’ Golf Course Ground’s Shop and residential life.
