Anyconnect VPN service is here

The Cisco Anyconnect client is available for Windows, Mac and Linux. To install the client, go to anyconnect.mst.edu. Provide your University of Missouri System single sign-on (SSO) user I.D. The client will download and install, or navigate to the link to download the installation package. When installed, point to server: anyconnect.mst.edu, select group “S&T_Campus_Access,” enter your SSO and password.

Last PRO session Aug. 16

The final Preview, Registration and Orientation (PRO) session for 2014 will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, in the Havener Center. Incoming students will learn about student life, meet with their advisors, take the math placement exam and register for fall classes. After attending PRO, new students will participate in Opening Week activities to prepare for the first day of classes on Monday, Aug. 25. New student transfer transitions

Transfer transition will start at 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, in Room 120 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. New transfer students will have the opportunity to participate in a design project and competition. Students will meet faculty and staff in their departments and learn about campus life. Welcome the new transfer students when they visit your office. The day concludes with a recognition dinner for our new students. New student programs is pleased to announce that Union Pacific will once again sponsor the 2014 Opening Week’s Project X. Union Pacific will have representatives on campus during Opening Week to assist our new students with programs and judging their projects. 1,300 new students will attend Opening Week, which starts Saturday, Aug. 16.

Whether it is a free cup of coffee or an umbrella in the rain, the Blue Key Honors Society inspires other students by performing random acts of kindness throughout the semester. Fundraising takes place for the Spirit of Change during Opening Week and the first week of school.
