eConnection to take winter break

The faculty and staff eConnection will go on a short hiatus during the winter break. Monday, Dec. 22, will be the last eConnection until Monday, Jan. 5. Entries will still be accepted and entries with an urgent campuswide impact will still be distributed on an as-needed basis.

ROTC to fire cannon Friday

Members of the Missouri S&T Army ROTC battalion plan to fire the cannon outside Harris Hall sometime between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, as part of a video demonstration. No projectiles will be fired from the cannon, just sound. The sound is expected to be equivalent to that of the firing of a 10-gauge shotgun shell.
