Wunsch delivers three talks in Asia

Dr. Don Wunsch’s work with extreme learning machines is the focus of several presentations in three different countries. On Dec. 9, Wunsch, the Mary K. Finley Missouri Distinguished Professor of Computer Engineering, presented a keynote speech titled “Performance Issues for Extreme Learning Machines” at the Extreme Learning Machines 2014 Conference in Singapore. On Dec. 15, he visited the RIKEN Brain Research institute in Tokyo to conduct an interview with Professor Shun-Ichi Amari. On Friday, Dec. 19, he will give a presentation on reinforcement learning at Chinese University of Hong Kong.
