On Wednesday, July 16, students received an email from the S&T Store with instructions to verify how they’d like to receive their course materials through the Miner Book Bundle. Encourage your student to complete their selection promptly to avoid receiving reminder emails every other day from Barnes & Noble.

What is the Miner Book Bundle?

The Miner Book Bundle provides students with their required course materials each semester for one flat rate, helping make textbook costs more predictable and ensuring students have access to required materials by the first day of class. The program fee is automatically added to the student’s semester bill.

• Full-time undergraduate students: $360 per semester
• Part-time undergraduate students: $168 per semester
• Graduate students: $24 per credit hour

Students who prefer to purchase their course materials independently may opt out of the program between July 17 and Sept. 6.

Important dates

• July 16: Students receive their Miner Book Bundle email.
• July 17: Opt-out window opens.
• Aug. 15: First fall billing statement available.
• Sept. 6 (11:59 p.m.): Deadline to opt out and receive a refund.
