Fall 2026 billing information is beginning to appear in TouchNet, and now is a great time to start reviewing your student’s account together. Many student account charges and anticipated financial aid are already visible, with additional charges continuing to post over the coming weeks.

Important billing update

Beginning this fall, Missouri S&T is permanently adjusting its billing schedule to give students and families more time to review charges, finalize financial aid and make payment arrangements.

• First fall 2026 billing statement available: Week of Aug. 15
• Payment due date: Sept. 10

If you need a billing statement before August, your student may generate an On-Demand Statement in TouchNet. Please note that some charges, including housing, meal plans and student health insurance, are still being added and are expected to post by early to mid-July.

To help your student prepare for the semester, we encourage you to review the following items together:

1. Confirm your student’s Joe’SS To-Do List is complete and that any requested documents have been submitted.
2. Make sure your student has completed the 2026-27 FAFSA, if they have not already done so.
3. Verify your student has accepted any financial aid offers, including loans, work-study and athletic aid, in Joe’SS.
4. Ensure your student has granted authorized access if they would like you or another trusted individual to help manage billing or financial aid information.
5. Report any private scholarships through Joe’SS so they can be reflected as anticipated aid.
6. Review the Miner Book Bundle program and discuss whether your student would like to participate. The opt-out period opens July 17 and closes Sept. 6.
7. Explore additional financing options, if needed, including the Parent PLUS Loan or private educational loans.
8. Decide which payment option works best for your family:
   • Pay the balance in full by Sept. 10.
   • Enroll in a monthly payment plan.
   • Use funds from a 529 college savings plan.
