S&T takes third in International Metallic Design Competition

Missouri S&T’s Metal Mine Design Team earned third place in the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME) international Metallic Student Design Competition, a multiphase challenge that draws universities from around the world. After beginning Phase 1 on campus in September and submitting their initial designs in November, the team advanced to Phase 2 of the competition. This final round was held during SME’s Annual Conference and Exhibition in Salt Lake City.
