The Missouri S&T Career Fair will take place 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, in the Gale Bullman Building with more than 250 employers registered to attend.
Encourage students to attend — regardless of their major or classification.
While students may feel uncertainty about the broader job market, events like the Career Fair remain one of the most impactful professional development opportunities available to them. Even if students are not actively seeking employment, the fair provides networking opportunities, exposure to employee expectations and confidence-building opportunities.
Students can pre-register 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, in Room 304 of Norwood Hall, allowing students to skip entry lines on the day of the event.
A brief in-class reminder, Canvas announcement or individual conversation can significantly influence participation. The Career Fair is more than a hiring event; it is applied professional development.
