Promotion and tenure panel set for March 4

A panel discussion on promotion and tenure processes will be held 12:30-1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, in St. Pat’s Ballroom A of the Havener Center. Panelists will offer suggestions and answer questions on the promotion and tenure process for candidates moving from assistant to associate professor, and from associate to full professor. 

Panelists include: 

  • Dr. Carleigh Davis, associate professor of English and technical communication 
  • Dr. Bill Fahrenholtz, Curators’ Distinguished Professor of materials science and engineering 
  • Dr. Daniel Forciniti, associate provost of faculty affairs and professor of chemical and biochemical engineering 
  • Dr. David Lipke, associate professor of materials science and engineering 
  • Dr. Kathleen Sheppard, professor of history. 

The discussion is open to all faculty; individuals who are planning to participate in the next promotion and tenure cycle are especially encouraged to attend. Lunch will be provided for all attendees who register by Monday, Feb. 24. Register online.
