As we step into 2025, Missouri S&T student well-being wants to remind our colleagues in all departments that supporting student success is enhanced when we prioritize our own well-being. We understand that our ability to foster a thriving campus community is closely tied to how well we care for ourselves.

That’s why we’re excited to highlight an invaluable resource now available to all employees: free premium access to Calm or Calm Health through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

The Calm app is your personal toolkit for managing stress, improving sleep, and cultivating mindfulness. With guided meditations, breathing exercises, sleep stories, and daily tips, Calm can help you recharge and refocus.

If you’re seeking more comprehensive support, Calm Health offers tools and programs to help you better understand your mental and physical well-being. This includes mental health resources tailored to your unique needs.

How to Get Started

Setting up your Calm or Calm Health account is simple:

  1. Visit Optum’s Calm information page.
