You’re invited to celebrate the retirement of Dr. Debra Robinson, vice chancellor for Student Affairs, during a drop-in reception from 12-1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, in the Innovation Lab Forum. Robinson will retire after 44 years of service in the Division of Student Affairs.
Robinson joined Missouri S&T in 1980 as a counseling psychologist, later serving as director of the Center for Personal and Professional Development, then associate vice chancellor. Robinson was appointed vice chancellor in 2003, serving as the chief student affairs officer and member of the chancellor’s leadership team. As vice chancellor for Student Affairs, she led ten departments and the team responsible for programs and services to promote well-being, engagement and success.
Robinson holds a Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and a certificate in organizational development from NTL Institute of Applied Behavioral Sciences. She participated in the Harvard Institute for Educational Management and is a master-certified coach with the International Coach Federation. She has served on the board of directors for the Association of Public Land Grant Universities, as co-chair for APLU Council of Student Affairs, and as president of the Society of Consulting Psychology, Division 13 of the American Psychological Association.
