The S&T chapter of the American Nuclear Society will host a table in front of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16, through Friday, Oct. 20. Come visit to watch fun nuclear demonstrations, purchase merchandise, sign up for blue glow tours at the reactor, and learn more about nuclear science.
Other planned events include a viewing of the documentary Nuclear Now and a virtual seminar by Dr. Kathryn Huff, assistant secretary for the Office of Nuclear Energy in the U.S. Department of Energy.
Tune into KMNR (FM 89.5) at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, to hear about Nuclear Science Week from S&T faculty and graduate students.
