Fall 2023 openings are available in Student Accessibility and Testing’s Executive Function Advising (EFA) Program. This program provides individualized support for students with disabilities that impact executive function as they make the transition from high school to Missouri S&T.

In EFA, students and an accommodation advisor identify and develop student-driven goals for the semester. They meet weekly to review goal progress, discuss strategies, and develop weekly action plans. Goals may involve areas like academic, organizational, and self-monitoring strategies, campus involvement, planning and priorities, and utilizing campus resources.

Students eligible for Executive Function Advising must:

  • Have accommodation eligibility established through Student Accessibility and Testing
  • Have a documented disability that impacts executive function

The fee for this program is $500 per semester.

This program is limited to 12 participants. Interested students must complete a brief application. For the application go to https://saat.mst.edu/efa or scan the QR code below. Students will be enrolled in the program on a first come first served basis. Once the program reaches capacity, a waitlist will be kept.
