Dedicated students, distinguished colleagues and dear friends,
Missouri S&T recently started the spring semester and already we are planning for the fall! Currently, our plan for the fall 2021 semester is to again hold classes in person and on campus. Our hope is to have more in-person classes than we currently have, and we are working toward that realization.
We will continue to follow our safety protocols. I know that, despite the positive signs that we may be handling the pandemic well, we still face dangers and uncertainties. Even as we receive good news about vaccines and more and more of us are receiving our vaccinations every day, we also hear about new strains of the virus that could pose concerns. Nevertheless, we also know that, as a university, we cannot stand still. We must make plans today for our future success.
Like many of you, I am looking forward to a time when we are beyond the current effects of COVID-19 – a time when we all feel safer about visiting friends and family, dining out, attending performances, and traveling.
I encourage you to visit our information hub, coronavirus.mst.edu, for the latest information about our efforts to keep the Missouri S&T campus safe and ready for the fall semester.
Warmly,

Mo Dehghani
Chancellor
P.S. Students, make sure you mark your calendar for S&T’s Career Fair on Tuesday, Feb. 16. You can start booking appointments with employers starting next Tuesday, Feb. 9. I heartily encourage you to get Career Fair details and see what resources are available for you at career.mst.edu.
