Sanjay Madria, associate professor of computer science, will lead a two-day workshop for top researchers in the area of wireless computing on March 2-3 in St. Louis. The workshop, titled “Research directions in situational-aware self-managed proactive computing in wireless ad hoc networks,” is held in conjunction with a Computing Research Association Committee on the Status of Women in Computing Research (CRA-W) workshop on pervasive computing.
This workshop is supported by a grant from Air Force Research Lab (AFRL), Rome, N.Y., and by additional grants and support from CRA-W, Oak Ridge and Boeing. Madria is a leading expert in wireless computing research and also the primary investigator for the grant from AFRL.
