The Committee on the Status of Women in Computing Research (CRA-W) and the Coalition to Diversify Computing (CDC) are sponsoring a Distinguished Lecture Series intended to encourage women and minorities to pursue graduate education in computer science and engineering. The program will begin at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 23, in St. Pat’s Ballroom B of the Havener Center.
— 9:30-10:30 a.m. – “Vis-a-Vis: Online Social Networking via Virtual Individual Servers,” with Ramon Caceres from AT&T Labs
— 11 a.m.-noon – “MANET Simulation Studies: The Incredibles,” with Dr. Tracy Camp from the Colorado School of Mines
— 12:30-2 p.m. – Graduate students discussion panel
