Zotero remains available until at least Dec. 31
Over the last several months, your Information Technology (IT) division has been actively working to allow for the continued use of Zotero by S&T faculty, administration and students. Thanks to the efforts of Dr. Dan Stutts, the Information Technology and Computing Committee (ITCC) chair, he and Barry Robbins, S&T’s chief information officer, were able to speak directly with the president of Digital Scholar, which owns Zotero.

Due to security concerns with Zotero, Missouri S&T’s information technology team will retire the use of Zotero on university computer systems. To allow individuals time to transition, the software will remain available until Friday, Aug. 2, when it will be removed from AppsAnywhere and blocked on all university-managed computer systems.
