Zotero to be removed from campus computers by Aug. 2

Due to security concerns with Zotero, Missouri S&T’s information technology team will retire the use of Zotero on university computer systems. To allow individuals time to transition, the software will remain available until Friday, Aug. 2, when it will be removed from AppsAnywhere and blocked on all university-managed computer systems.
Alternatives to Zotero are available. S&T’s IT team recommends Mendeley or EndNote. Mendeley is available in AppsAnywhere for Windows and installation can be requested for macOS and Linux. EndNote can be purchased and installed for Windows and macOS. To purchase EndNote or request installation of Mendeley on macOS or Linux, submit a ticket at help.mst.edu.
