Volunteers, sponsors needed for new S&T research conference
Calls for proposals and registration are now open for Miners Solving for Tomorrow, the first undergraduate and graduate student research conference at S&T. Hosted by University Libraries, the conference will be held Wednesday, April 2, through Friday, April 4. The campus community will roll out the welcome mat Friday, Sept. 22, through Sunday, Sept. 24, for Family and Friends Weekend. From the Fall Equinox Celebration, tours and demonstrations, Celebration of Nations, and cheering on the Miner football, soccer and volleyball teams, it promises to be a memorable weekend.

Due to the high volume of employers attending, faculty and staff volunteers are sought to assist during the in-person Career Fair Tuesday, Sept. 27. The average employers that attend the fall fair is 334. Currently, there are 390 employers registered.
