SWE sells roses
Members of S&T’s Society of Women Engineers (SWE) will hold a rose sale for Valentine’s Day gifts. Individuals can reserve their flowers by completing a form and picking them up from the garage of the Student Diversity House on Thursday, Feb. 11, and Friday, Feb. 12.

Students start to sell the roses
Do you prefer your roses fresh or made of glass? Two student groups are selling Valentine’s Day gifts this week. The fundraisers include:
- The Gaffers Guild will sell handmade glass pieces, including flowers, hearts, vases and other one-of-a-kind artwork, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, and Tuesday, Feb. 13, in the commons area of McNutt Hall.
- The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) will sell fresh roses 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, and Wednesday, Feb. 14, at the Havener Center and the Curtis Laws Wilson Library.
Order chocolate-covered strawberries by Feb. 6
Seeking a sweet treat for Valentine’s Day? Miner Challenge is selling chocolate-covered strawberries as a fundraiser for the program’s alternative break trips. Strawberries cost $12 for a dozen assorted milk chocolate and white chocolate-covered strawberries.
