Finance office implements travel and expense changes
The University of Missouri System’s office of finance has implemented several changes to the Travel and Expense (T&E) module within PeopleSoft to improve the user experience. The changes became effective July 1. While they may seem small, these changes are expected to increase data accuracy and reduce the number of necessary clicks by 1.5 million a year. The University of Missouri Board of Curators reviewed and approved revisions on June 21 to Collected Rules and Regulations (CRRs) that will give faculty and staff more flexibility with paid leave. Missouri S&T’s Staff Council offers a scholarship program to assist staff members who are furthering their education. Full-time S&T employees enrolled in at least one class at Missouri S&T or another University of Missouri System campus can apply for a $250 scholarship. Scholarships are awarded twice yearly, for the spring and fall semesters. The deadline for the fall semester is Friday, June 15.
