Nine employees honored at Staff Day ceremony
Nine employees at Missouri S&T were honored Wednesday, May 25 for their contributions to the campus during Staff Day celebration. Each winner received a certificate and plaque during this morning’s awards ceremony in the Havener Center. The winners were selected from a group of staff members who were nominated by faculty, staff and students.

Faculty, staff and students can nominate an outstanding staff member to receive one of nine awards. Nominations are due Monday, April 9. Submit your nomination online or visit the Staff Council website, print the form and follow the directions on the form to submit it.

Staff Council is seeking nominations for the 2014 Staff Excellence Awards. Nine staff members will receive awards this year during Staff Day on Wednesday, May 28, in recognition of their contributions to the university. Any staff, faculty or student at Missouri S&T may submit nominations. Awards will be given in the following categories: administrative/professional, secretarial/clerical, technical/paraprofessional and crafts/services. Nomination forms are available for download at staffcouncil.mst.edu. You can also submit your form online at http://goo.gl/iwLFFp. You will need to sign in using your S&T Google account. The deadline for nominations is Friday, April 18.
