Read More »A daylong power outage is planned Thursday, May 30, to allow for replacement of one of S&T’s substation transformers. Several campus buildings will be affected by the power outage, which will begin at approximately 6 a.m. and last throughout the day. Staff enrichment workshops will be available 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on May 30 in Hasselmann Alumni House, which will not be affected by the power outage.

Read More »TThe Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE) offers professional development grants of up to $1,000 for early-career faculty, both tenure-track and non-tenure track. The grants are designed to help early-career faculty travel to conferences or workshops for their professional development or to meet with fund managers. One grant is allowed per faculty member per academic year. The application deadline is today (Thursday, March 1). Led by Dr. Larry Gragg, chair, and Dr. Wayne Huebner, co-chair, CAFE was developed in Spring 2017 by the provost’s office, in conjunction with a campus steering committee.
