Read More »In the interest of public health and safety, Missouri S&T’s Leach Theatre has announced that its Campus Performing Arts Series will be delayed until winter 2020. The change comes after the theater canceled the last of its spring 2019 season due to concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Read More »The University Wind Symphony and S&T Video Game Music Ensemble will perform an outdoor concert at 12 p.m. Friday, April 26 on the lawn in front of the Havener Center. The concert is free and audience members are welcome to bring lunch and a blanket or lawn chair to sit on.
The Wind Symphony will be performing selections from the soundtrack of “Les Misérables” arranged by Jay Bocook, “Lassus Trombone” by Henry Fillmore, and Pytor Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture” arranged by Mayhew Lake. Faculty from S&T’s explosives engineering program will provide pyrotechnics for this performance of the “1812 Overture.”

When Leach Theatre reopens in August, patrons will notice a center aisle, railings and new seats. The theater, which closed June 25, is undergoing renovations. Plans call for new, wider seats with backs that provide lumbar support.
