Parking lot near design center to close

Visitor parking reminder

The parking operations staff reminds the campus community that the visitor parking lot, located southeast of the Havener Center, is reserved for campus visitors only 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Students, faculty, and staff — including anyone with parking permits or registration decals — may not park in the visitor lot unless using the parking meters.

Parking ticket amnesty day planned April 24

The University Police and parking operations department will host a campus parking ticket amnesty day event 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, at the parking operations window in Room G-10 Campus Support Facility. Parking Lots A-44 and C-11 to close temporarily April 10

Parking Lot A-44, located near the Christ Episcopal Church, will be closed for a church event Wednesday, April 10. Parking Lot C-11, located across from Castleman Hall, will be reserved for attendees of the National Threat Assessment Conference Wednesday, April 10. It will be closed to permit parking. During this time, permit holders may use Lot C-48 at the corner of 10th Street and Highway 63.

Changes coming to student parking permits – what you need to know

Beginning next semester (Fall 2019), the student parking permits for some parking lots will be reserved for students who live in a residential hall. The residential areas and lots include:

  • Residential Commons 1: Students who live in Res Commons 1 will have priority for Lot H permits.
  • Residential Commons 2: Students who live in Res Commons 2 will have priority for Lot S permits.
  • University Commons: Students who live in University Commons will have priority for Lot N permits.
  • Miner Village: Students who live in Miner Village will have priority for Lot K permits.
  • Thomas Jefferson Hall: Students who live in T.J. will have priority for Lot T permits.

If you request a student permit for a residential lot and you do not live in the associated hall, your request will be given lower priority than residents.  However, you may request permits for up to 6 lots to increase your chances to secure a parking space.

Career Fair is coming up; please note parking options

Missouri S&T expects hundreds of recruiters at the Career Fair Tuesday, Feb. 19. Please note the following regarding parking:

  • Parking in Lot X near the Gale Bullman Building will be restricted to only Career Day employers. If you normally park here, please move your vehicle before 6 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19.
  • Please do not use Lot I near Student Health Services for Career Fair parking. Lot I is restricted to only Student Health Services employees and students receiving health care services at that time.
  • For assistance with relocation parking on this day, please contact the parking operations office at parking@mst.edu or 341-4303.
