Enjoy tea and lemonade while creating artwork during a “Paint and Sip” event at S&T’s Staff Appreciation Day Wednesday, May 30. Due to the popularity of the 2017 event, two sessions will be held. Sign-ups are available online for sessions at 10:30-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-1:30 p.m. Residential life staff members Joni Burch, associate director of student support services, and Sarah Perry, manager of student support services, will lead the classes. Arthur’s painting on display in regional exhibit
A recent painting by Scott Arthur, lecturer in arts, languages and philosophy, has been accepted for the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri’s 2017 Regional Juried Exhibit. The exhibition began with an opening reception on Dec. 1 and will continue through Saturday, Jan. 27, at the gallery at 16B N. Spanish St. in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
