Proposal-writing bootcamp coming March 15

A Proposal Writing Bootcamp will be held 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, March 15 (during spring recess during St. Pat’s), in the Missouri-Ozark Room of the Havener Center. The workshop will feature program directors from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and National Science Foundation (NSF) as well as presentations from the Broader Impacts Network. Edmands Martin’s book chapter accepted for publication

Sarah Edmands Martin, senior media producer in the office of sponsored programs, presented her paper titled “Swiping Left on Empathy: Gamification and Commodification of the (Inter)Face” at the World Design Summit in October in Montreal, Canada. Martin’s chapter proposal of the same title has been accepted in the book Design & Ethics by Bloomsbury publishing.

Faculty forum focuses on proposal budgeting, cost sharing

Early career faculty are invited to hear about proposal budgeting and cost sharing from the Office of Sponsored Programs 4-5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, in Room 204 of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library.
