Bruening publishes essay in ‘Aeon’ magazine

Dr. Michael Bruening, professor of history and political science, published an essay in Aeon magazine on 16th-century religious reformer Sebastian Castellio. The piece, titled “Revolutionary Tolerance,” explores Castellio’s advocacy for religious tolerance and his opposition to dogmatic persecution during the Reformation.

Mochalin publishes research on nanodiamond-based nerve agent treatment

Dr. Vadym Mochalin, associate professor of chemistry, leads an international research team developing a nanodiamond-based drug delivery platform to treat exposure to nerve agents such as sarin and Novichok. Their findings were recently published in Chemico-Biological Interactions.
