Students often feel anxious or stressed about starting the school year with new classmates and unfamiliar professors, and they are not alone. Counseling, disability support and student wellness offers tips on its website. If you hear students report feeling overwhelmed, suggest that they talk to a professional. Dunk a cop for Special Olympics

The St. Pat’s Committee will host a dunking booth during Minerama to raise money for Special Olympics. For a small donation, you get a chance to dunk a police or parking officer. The dunking booth will be located near the Puck during Minerama, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29. The cost is 50 cents a ball or three balls for $1. All proceeds will benefit the Missouri Special Olympics.
