Missouri S&T’s student health services team provides the following updated information to the campus community regarding COVID-19 guidance.

Classes will start on Tuesday, Jan. 18. In a message to the four University of Missouri System campuses on Jan. 11, leaders stressed the following:
- Vaccination (including a booster shot) remains the best protection against the COVID-19 virus.
- Virtual gatherings, meetings and events are encouraged.
- Masks are encouraged (but not required).
- Stay home if you are sick.

Facial coverings required at July 31 commencement
Due to an increase of COVID-19 cases in the state, Missouri S&T will require all individuals to wear facial coverings at the commencement ceremony on Saturday, July 31, in the Gale Bullman Building.
