COVID-19 Update: Starting the spring semester

Classes will start on Tuesday, Jan. 18. In a message to the four University of Missouri System campuses on Jan. 11, leaders stressed the following:

  • Vaccination (including a booster shot) remains the best protection against the COVID-19 virus.
  • Virtual gatherings, meetings and events are encouraged.
  • Masks are encouraged (but not required).
  • Stay home if you are sick.

Update on facial covering guidelines

Facial coverings required at July 31 commencement

Due to an increase of COVID-19 cases in the state, Missouri S&T will require all individuals to wear facial coverings at the commencement ceremony on Saturday, July 31, in the Gale Bullman Building.
