S&T joins JED to support mental health, committee leads efforts

Missouri S&T has joined JED Campus in support of student well-being and mental health. The program is a nationwide initiative of The JED Foundation (JED) designed to help schools evaluate and strengthen their mental health, substance misuse and suicide prevention programs to safeguard individual and community health. Gargus honored for peer education work

Jessica Gargus, manager of Miner Wellness, received the 2017 BACCHUS Initiatives of NASPA Outstanding Advisor award from the NASPA-Student Affairs Professionals in Higher Education. Gargus was presented the award in November at the organization’s annual awards banquet.
