Get your ‘Miner Nation’ shirt

The new student programs department is selling T-shirts for anyone to purchase. The theme of the shirt design is “Miner Nation” to represent S&T’s campus community. The front of the shirt features S&T’s logo and the back features a list of countries represented at the university, with the words “Miner Nation” highlighted. The idea behind the design is that S&T is a diverse university, we welcome all to our campus, and our ties to the world reach globally.

Training open to UM System employees, grad students

The University of Missouri System Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will sponsor training with faculty from the Social Justice Training Institute 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, at the MU Student Center in Columbia. The training is open to faculty, staff and graduate students from across the UM System and will be capped at 60 participants. Applications are due by Friday, Oct. 27.
