Ignite Rolla, a TED-like event hosted for the first time by Council of Graduate Students in collaboration with Student Council and Toastmasters International on Feb. 26, 2014, was a success. Free tickets for Ignite Rolla will be available 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, through Wednesday, Feb. 26, in the Havener Center atrium. Tickets may be reserved by emailing IgniteRolla@gmail.com.

The abstract deadline for Ignite Rolla has been extended to noon Monday, Feb. 10. Presentation titles and abstracts of fewer than 150 words may be sent to IgniteRolla@gmail.com. More information about the event and abstract submission guidelines may be found at cgs.mst.edu.

Ignite Rolla, an evening of brief TED Talk-style lectures designed to showcase the inspirational ideas being generated by members of the Missouri S&T campus and the Rolla community, will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, in St. Pat’s Ballroom C of the Havener Center. Interested participants may submit an abstract to the S&T Council of Graduate Students by Friday, Feb. 7. More information is available on the CGS website.
