HLC accreditation visit planned Oct. 8-9, forums scheduled
A team of peer reviewers representing the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) will be on campus Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 8 and 9, as part of the accreditation process for Missouri S&T, and several forums will be held on Monday, Oct. 8, to help the reviewers assess whether S&T meets HLC’s criteria for accreditation. Missouri S&T will undergo a comprehensive evaluation visit with the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) in October. Now is the time to provide feedback on materials created for the evaluation. You may also learn about the accreditation process and provide feedback at open forums. The open forums were previously announced and the times have been changed. The forums will be held:
- 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, in St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center
- 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, in St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center
- 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, in St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center

Missouri S&T will undergo a comprehensive evaluation visit with the Higher Learning Commission Monday, Oct. 8, and Tuesday, Oct. 9, by a team representing the commission. In preparation for the site visit, the campus community is invited to review and provide feedback on materials created for the evaluation by Wednesday, Feb. 28. Additionally, faculty, staff and students are invited to learn about the accreditation process and provide feedback at open forums, which will be held:

Missouri S&T seeks comments from the public about the university in preparation for a periodic evaluation by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). Missouri S&T will host a visit by an HLC team Oct. 8-9, 2018. The team will review Missouri S&T’s ongoing ability to meet HLC’s criteria for accreditation.
