Missouri S&T’s Fitness Center reopened on Aug. 18 for students. To meet the latest COVID-19 safety recommendations, the fitness center will have reduced capacity limits. It will be open 8 a.m.-2 p.m. through Friday, Aug. 21 and resume regular hours of operation on Monday, Aug. 24.Read More »
The newly expanded and renovated S&T Fitness Center opened today (Monday, May 6). The center is open for use but some work will continue to finish the facility. Students, along with faculty and staff who have purchased memberships, will need to have their S&T ID (Miner Card 2.0) for admission to the fitness center. Older S&T IDs without a chip will not operate with the card reader system.Read More »
The NEW S&T Fitness Center is now hiring health & fitness minded S&T students for the positions of Fitness Center Attendants and Fitness Center Supervisors.
• The Fitness Center Attendant is responsible for the daily operations of the S&T Fitness Center. They oversee access control, customer service, facility function and security, guest safety, policy enforcement, and emergency response.
• The Fitness Center Supervisor is responsible for all service desk functions, general facility operations, and for evening and weekend coverage of the S&T Fitness Center.
In-house 1st Aid/CPR/AED training is offered and required of all staff.

Missouri S&T’s Fitness Center will close Saturday, May 12, to begin preparations for the facility’s expansion. Students and leaders broke ground for the construction project in April. It is slated for completion in April 2019. All equipment currently in the fitness center will be moved out and relocated during construction.Read More »
S&T students Kaeden Kessinger, Madison Moore and Scottie Thomas, along with University of Missouri System President Mun Choi, Missouri S&T Interim Chancellor Christopher Maples and other university leaders, broke ground on a $4 million expansion to S&T’s student fitness center on April 12. Construction work will begin this summer and the renovated facility is slated to open in April 2019, increasing in size from 6,400 to 16,600 square feet.
