McManus examines the parallels between Ulysses S. Grant and Dwight D. Eisenhower, delving in particular into Eisenhower’s World War II military campaigns. The presentation, in partnership with the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library, Museum and Boyhood Home, continues a series coinciding with the exhibit Eisenhower’s Middle Road at the Central Library. Read More »“Beliefs Matter: Atheists and Christians in Conversation About God, Meaning and Evil,” a panel discussion, will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, in Toomey 199. Paul Hamilton, S&T lecturer in philosophy, will present the atheist viewpoint, and Chris Gadsden, adjunct professor in philosophy, religion and ethics at UM-Columbia, will present the Christian viewpoint. There will be time for Q&A from the audience. The event is sponsored by the S&T student organization Cru.
