Today is deadline to sign up for ‘trashion’ show
The Center for Arts and Innovation will award $1,000 in prizes to teams of students that participate in the upcoming ‘trashion’ show at noon Tuesday, March 1, in the atrium of the Havener Center. The competition will be an opportunity for interdisciplinary student teams to showcase garments they’ve designed and constructed of at least 90 percent reused and recycled materials.

A candidate has withdrawn from consideration for the position of S&T’s senior director of institutional research and data management. Therefore, the open forum with this candidate planned tomorrow (Friday, Feb. 14) in the Havener Center has been cancelled.

The S&T Hispanic Film Series will present a free film, “Delicate Balance,” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, in Room 104 Physics Building. The 2016 documentary will be presented in Spanish with English subtitles.

SWE to sell roses for Valentine’s Day
Members of S&T’s Society of Women Engineers (SWE) will hold a rose sale 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, and Thursday, Feb. 14, at the Havener Center and the Curtis-Laws Wilson Library.
