Faculty to share about interdisciplinary creativity, entrepreneurship
How can we break down barriers to learning that students may set up for themselves? How can we shift student focus from memorization and facts, toward creativity and creating value? The Center for Educational Research and Teaching Innovation (CERTI) will host a faculty event with hands-on activities and resources 3-4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, in St. Pat’s A of the Havener Center. The campus faculty and administrators are invited to attend the Faculty Social and Welcome Event that will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, in St. Pat’s Ballroom A of the Havener Center. Come meet the new faculty, mingle with colleagues and make new connections. The event is sponsored by the Female and Underrepresented Minority Faculty Recruiting and Retention Task Force.
