Approximately 500 seventh- and eighth-grade girls will visit Missouri S&T’s campus for the Expanding Your Horizons Conference Friday, Nov. 17. Five volunteers are still needed to help guide groups of attendees to workshops throughout campus. Volunteer hours are 8:15 a.m.-1:15 p.m. and lunch is provided. Women are needed as volunteer guides for attendees of the 15th annual Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) conference that will be held Friday, Nov. 7, at Missouri S&T. EYH helps 7th- and 8th-grade girls learn about careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields. The event brings more than 450 students to campus.

Expanding Your Horizons, an opportunity for 7th and 8th grade girls to learn more about careers in science, math, engineering and technology, will be held Friday, Nov. 21. NASA astronaut Stephanie Wilson will be the keynote speaker and more than 12 new workshops are planned.
